Short answer: Run
npm cache clear
If your npm shrinkwrap is putting 127.0.0.1 in "resolved", clear your npm cache. There's like no documentation about that. Hope this helps.— Michael Barrett (@twisterghost) October 31, 2016
When npm installs a package from the local cache, it results in putting a
127.0.0.1 url in the
resolved property for the package. This can result in some really bad problems replicating the install on another machine. Simply clearing the npm cache can fix this issue.
When looking for why I was getting this issue, I wasn't able to find any relevant topics from searching, so hopefully you found this and your issue is fixed.
